I am a 43 year old male ... I recall I started stuttering at an early age of 5 and have been living with this “ailment” since then. After many years of speech therapy and self help speech classes I resigned myself that I would always have this “handicap”. Although I regarded myself as a people’s person, I would always be found cowering in the back ground as I was too afraid to speak to someone new. In 2006 before leaving for Cyprus, I heard about Voice Amp and was extremely keen to find out about this device and also to test it.

Time was against me and left South Africa without testing the product. In 2009, I decided to find out more about this product, as I was finding it more and more stressful at work. I am a Quantity Surveyor and my job requires me to communicate with all consultants, (viz architects, engineers, clients etc) and contractors, and at all levels as well. I do financial reporting on the profitable of my current projects as well and as these can be stressful even without a speech impediment. My company encouraged me to find out more about this product and Voice Amp put me in touch with a speech therapist for me to test it. I was truly blown away after only testing this product for a few minutes.

The clarity of my speech was phenomenal and I could not wait to purchase this magnificent invention. When my own device arrived, I went home and played around with the settings until I was satisfied that it suited me. I was also preparing for my financial report and was even more stressed when I heard that the group CFO would be present at the next meeting. On the eve of my report, I did an all nighter (sat up the whole night) to be 100% prepared. I walked into the board room - with my palms being all sweaty and my heart pounding (I am sure that everyone could hear it as well).

I deliver my report with great ease and not stuttering once. My directors were so overwhelmed that everyone clapped with excitement and joy. I was ecstatic and I smiled like a Cheshire cat. This amazing device not only helped my speech, but also boosted my morale and self esteem. I would definitely recommend this to all stutters.
